Kohl Park is a 266-acre property located on the far northern edge of Milwaukee County that provides an opportunity to improve habitat for wildlife populations in the area. The project will include native grassland and oak savanna restoration, stabilization of eroding areas, management of wildlife corridors, control of problematic plant species, and promotion of habitat for vulnerable species. Restoring rich and diverse habitats and communities at Kohl Park will provide a refuge from urban and industrial landscapes.
